In Borneo, Malaysia, rainforest is demolished, and orangutan populations have declined by over 50% in 60 years. The orangutans lose their habitat to palm plantation. To tackle this issue, our first solution is to educate locals within the forest itself, where there is a much greater chance that they would grow up to be more determined to address forest protection. We hope by taking a stance in our design, locals eventually realise the importance of the primitive forests in Sarawak. In return, they will strive to protect
this land – our home.
